Capturing the existing environment of a confined space is now possible using an inverted tripod together with the remote control for the FARO Focus 3D Laser scanner.
This approach provides a safe system of work to capture the geometry and condition of the manhole/chamber without the requirement to entry the chamber.
Delivery can be a geo-referenced point cloud and we can also supply a full BIM model of the chamber or tank.
