GeoData Surveying was tasked to create an as-built BIM model of a 3 storey basement as part of a incomplete 5 storey office block in Cherrywood Dublin.
Construction was halted at ground levels a number of years back and in order to recommence construction of the superstructure overhead the design team required an as built 3D Revit model of all existing works completed to date including all structural elements such as wall, beam, floors slabs, lift cores, stairs wells, ramps and also service opes.
The Survey was carried out with a Trimble TX8 laser scanner both internally and externally with control provided by a Trimble S5 robotic total station.
A full utility survey was carried out on his site to PAS 128 standard.
